Long before modern smart-home notifications existed, our founder, Mr. Ng, recognized a critical limitation in remote security alerts. If an alarm triggered while a property owner was away, they had no way of knowing where the break-in happened until they physically traveled back to the site to check the keypad.

Unwilling to wait for the industry to catch up, Mr. Ng architected the logic for a highly advanced proprietary burglar alarm panel. 8M Alarm System successfully built and launched a revolutionary panel that dialed directly to an alphanumeric pager.

This invention was remarkably ahead of its time. Years later, when distributors finally brought basic phone dialers from major international brands into the market, those generic systems still fell short. While they could call an off-site owner to indicate a trigger, they provided no details—leaving the user completely guessing until they arrived on-site. In contrast, Mr. Ng’s custom system was already successfully transmitting the exact zone number straight to the user's pager screen from miles away.

Because of its superior, problem-solving design, our proprietary panels gained recognition beyond Singapore. At the time, even alarm installers from Malaysia came to us directly to source the system over global commercial brands.
